Two-hundred stadium-style seats, a 5-storey screen and 7,600 watts of digital surround sound mean sights and sounds so real, you’ll think you’re part of the action! This 45-minute experience is great for groups.

Tour beautiful Ramsey Lake aboard the Cortina, sailing from the Science North dock several times daily from May to September. Enjoy the licensed snack bar during this relaxing one-hour cruise. Chartered cruises are also available, with or without catering.
Give your group a behind-the-scenes look at the largest integrated mining complex in the world! This tour will show you how rocks are turned to riches with an added cultural perspective that is sure to engage visitors of all ages. Dynamic Earth’s Path of Discovery tour gets up-close and personal with the Superstack (381 m tall!) and the mining complex as well as Sudbury’s historic neighbourhoods to give you an idea of Sudbury’s fascinating story.
Now here’s a way to “wow” your guests! Sudbury Aviation offers aerial tours in their Beaver or Cessna bushplanes – a classic Northern experience! Fly over the Sudbury Basin, Science North, the Big Nickel and more. Tours are 20 to 25 minutes and can accommodate groups of 2-6 at one time, with multiple departures provided for larger groups. An afternoon on the links is often a great outlet for team building away from the meeting room. Sudbury’s accessible executive courses are sure to challenge!
For schools or other groups looking for activities, the YMCA pool is available for rentals at this state-of-the-art recreational facility. Pool rentals are available Tuesdays and Thursdays in one-hour blocks for groups of 12 or more. Please call for more information: 705-674-8315.
In the summer, Sudbury has some wonderful beaches with great swimming for the whole family. Package a picnic and make it an afternoon! This is a great activity for groups as well. Click here for the locations of Greater Sudbury's beaches.
Let’s ride! Horseback riding and evening bonfires can be great activities for groups of all ages and abilities. How about paddling a canoe around Sudbury’s lush Vermillion River Delta? Or challenge the team with a paintball session! Hiking trails and more round out Sudbury’s outdoor experience.
Looking for a break? Get the group out for a round of mini-golf among the dinosaurs at Dinosaur Valley Mini Golf! Or how about the fast pace of go-karts, maybe some bowling, or a night at the movies? Lots of choices here.
